The next CD will be "Vénus Vétuste"

It has been said that the next Thorvin Vear album would be named The Drone Project, but it was canceled. It was almost a work completed, when Thorvin felt the the qualilty and the style of the drone project weren't up to what Thorvin Vear is. The album would have been 50 minutes of very electronic music with mostly english lyrics.

Vénus Vétuste will have a colder sound, much like Oubli. It's still gonna be very different from the first album. Electric guitars won't show up and metal influences will be scarce. Other styles such as Darkwave, Neo-Classical and even some Neo-Folk will be represented. The vocals will stay the same.

There is no official release date for the moment. About half an hour of matériel is completed, and a few other tracks are works in progress. Two sample songs are available.
